Villa Kolibri is a brand new villa located just outside Kokkino Chorio in Crete.
It offers stunning views – from Lefka Ori (White mountains), across Souda Bay and to the open sea of Crete.
The villa has extensive outdoor areas and amenities, including a jacuzzi and heated infinity pool overlooking Souda Bay.
The outdoor kitchen and living area allows you to make the most of the warm Cretan nights as you relax, dine and watch the dramatic sunsets.
The living room and kitchen open fully to the outdoor areas and the 4 double bedrooms with ensuites offer stunning views and direct access to the front terrace.
Villa Kolibri is ideally located – offering quiet seclusion and the chance to relax and unwind, but is also near to many activities – Koutalas beach is a short 10min walk, and offers great swimming and snorkelling.
The historic Kokkino Chorio village, with a mini market, cafe and taverna is a 10-15min walk.
Within a 10-15min drive are the villages of Plaka (nearest supermarket and restaurants), Almyrida and Kalyves (seaside towns with beaches and many tavernas).
The villa, is 35km from Chania International airport, and 28km from the old Venetian port town of Chania.

Swimming Pool
The 13-metre infinity pool offers amazing views over Souda Bay.
The terrace area, has a large outdoor table, comfortable couches with space for sun loungers.
The pool can be heated if required – at an additional charge of 60 euro per day.

Outdoor kitchen and dining
The outdoor kitchen area provides a fridge, sink and work spaces, alongside a 5 Burner gas BBQ.
The villa also has a quality music system, with Q Accoustic and Kef speakers in 2 zones – one inside, and another for the terrace/pool area.
Jacuzzi
The 4 person jacuzzi offers somewhere to relax and unwind, and enjoy the remarkable views.

Sunken seating and fire-pit
The sunken seating area offers a quiet place to relax in the evening, while enjoying the fire-pit and the night stars.
Bedrooms
All bedrooms feature an ensuite bathroom, and direct access to the outdoor terrace. They also have air-conditioning and a smart TV and safe.

A beautifully designed, high-quality property. The bedrooms were bright, simple and tastefully furnished, with comfortable beds and lovely bed linen. The bathrooms were equally stylish and, above all, exceptionally clean. Highlights were the pool, the fantastic sound system and, of course, the unbeatable views with truly spectacular sunsets.
The location is wonderfully peaceful and away from the main tourist areas, surrounded by hillsides with grazing goats and their bells, which sometimes gave the place an almost Alpine feel. There are also some lovely little towns nearby with good and affordable places to eat.
Communication with the host was excellent. He checked in with us proactively to make sure everything was fine and always responded immediately to our messages. We also really appreciated his flexibility, especially in making an earlier check-in possible for us.
Overall, a very special place where we felt completely at home. We would highly recommend it.

Everything about our stay at Villa Kolibri was exceptional. Mark was very helpful with booking and answering any questions about our stay. You can tell he really cares. On arrival Leonidas was there to greet us with helpful local tips. The property is spectacular and well thought out. Incredible views all day long, but nothing better than sunset! The home makes you feel as though you are at your own private oasis. It is very private and surprisingly quiet, but is just minutes from a small town with all the amenities you might need including very good restaurants with friendly people. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well appointed. The beds are comfortable. Every detail has been thought of and will exceed your expectations. A perfect place for a vacation.
This is without doubt one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in. If you think the photos look impressive, then the reality will far exceed any expectations you might have. The villa was perfect and spotlessly clean, and the views were truly breathtaking.
Both Mark the owner and Leonidas (one of the on-site managers) were incredibly helpful and provided us with numerous tips for the local area. From Leonidas’s recommendation, we also hired two local chefs to come and cook at the villa for my partner’s birthday, which really made the day incredibly special and is something we would definitely recommend to anyone staying here.
